Yellowstone Club Golf Offers High-Altitude Championship Play

With stunning mountain vistas and a challenging layout, the Yellowstone Club golf course has earned a reputation for offering the Big Sky Country's finest golfing experience.

Designed by Tom Weiskopf, a former PGA and Senior PGA player noted for designing some of the world's top courses, the Yellowstone Club's 18-hole golf course features an average elevation of 7, 500 feet and a range of challenging play to suit golfers of all skill levels. The course's multiple tee placements ensure maximum playability. The "Pioneer Tees" allow players to take on the course's full, 7, 000-plus yard range, while the "Cedar Tees" offer a shorter 5, 000-yard field of play.

The 72-par course includes a mix of long- and short-play holes, include five, three-par holes, eight four-par holes and five, five-par holes. The course's elevation adds an additional challenge as golfers can "play the roll" on some holes.

In addition to the course's unique mountain design, the Yellowstone Club golf course's placement offers some of the most scenic-and potentially distracting-golfing available. Snow-capped mountain peaks provide a backdrop for flagsticks and the tee boxes are placed among fragrant lodgepole pines and the Yellowstone Club's signature jackrail fences.

Golfers who have played the Yellowstone Club golf course note that it's not uncommon for area wildlife to make an occasional appearance during a round.

The combination of Weiskopf's high altitude design, challenging play and picturesque setting make the Yellowstone Club golf course a featured attraction for club members and their guests. Some describe the summer months in Montana as "heaven on earth, " and the Yellowstone Club golf course offers a memorable way to experience it.
